Every day we supply a total range of fresh products to wholesalers, supermarkets, exporters, catering, specialist greengrocers, sandwich shops, bakers and butchers.

1930
Gabriel Roelandt goes by horse and cart to the old sailing place in Antwerp to sell his fruit. In the summer he sold fruit, in the winter it were cabages.
1956
Gabriel’s son, Antoine Roelandt, joins the company.
During this period they buy their first truck.


1967 en 1973
The market moves to the Vlaamse Kaai. 6 years later, the company eventually moves to the wholesale market of Antwerp. Since then, they started sales from a warehouse. During this period, the focus was mainly on Belgian fruit such as plums, apples, pears and cherries.
1980
Start of our own cultivation of pears (doyennee, conference and durendeau) and Belgian cherries (regina, kordia) through the acquisition of various agricultural land. The plots are located in Haspengouw, Sint-Truiden. The production region par excellence for Belgian top fruit. Later, a warehouse is also taken over to stock the fruit.


1986
The current director, Luc Roelandt, joins the company at the age of 17. From then on, the range will be further expanded to include grapes and Spanish citrus.
2007
An expansion of the product range was made possible by the acquisition of Vegetables and Fruit Van Geystelen. This way, a total package of fresh produce, including fruit, vegetables, potatoes and packed vegetables, could be sold to our customers. From this period onwards, we started our own delivery services to supply our customers.


2016
Purchase of a new warehouse located in Zwaluwbeek industrial estate in Beveren. Manu Roelandt, Luc’s eldest son, joins the company. After six months of renovation, we moved into the new building at the beginning of 2017, which has been central to the further growth of our company.
